The Button (growthebutton.com) is a giant red button that does nothing. We collect very little, because there is very little to collect.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you buy pixels, you can leave a name and an optional note. These are displayed publicly on the site. Don't write anything you want kept private.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. We never see or store your card number. Polar shares with us only what is needed to record your contribution (such as a payment confirmation and your checkout email, used for receipts and support).
Technical data. Our server logs receive standard request data (IP address, browser type) used for security and keeping the site up. We don't build profiles from it.
Cookies and advertising
We may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and read how Google uses data at policies.google.com. Apart from advertising and payment, we only set cookies strictly necessary for the site to function.
How we use your information
To record your pixels, process payments, answer support email, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond promptly.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
