About The Button.

What does the button do?

Nothing. That's the point.

The Button is a giant red circle on the internet. You can click it as many times as you want. It does nothing. If you pay $1, it gets exactly one pixel bigger — permanently. That pixel is yours. It still does nothing.

The Button is currently 100px wide.

The goal.

We are making this button taller than the Empire State Building. 1,674,540 pixels. $1,674,540. One pixel at a time. This will probably take a very long time.

Why?

We wanted to see what happens when a button grows one pixel at a time, forever. We wanted to know if people would pay a dollar for a pixel that does nothing. We wanted to build the largest useless button on the internet.
